PEST CONTROL SERVICES

WE PROVIDE:

ROACH CONTROL

PestWorld.org states cockroach control and management are important for health and safety reasons. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) reports that one-in-five children in the United States have severe
sensitivities to cockroach allergens, which increase the severity of asthma symptoms. These allergens are most commonly introduced in homes through cockroach saliva, droppings and the decomposing bodies of these pests. Treatment includes thorough sanitation of infested areas followed by non-residual or residual product along with an insect growth inhibitor product.

FLEA CONTROL

Fleas have a complete life cycle including an egg, three larval stages, a pupae stage, and an adult (male or female) stage. Each female may lay four to eight eggs after each blood meal, and may feed every day or two; producing 400 - 500 eggs in her adult lifetime, which is typically six to 12 months long. Effective flea management requires participation of both the customer and a trained technician. Treatment includes thorough sanitation of infested areas followed by non-residual or residual product along with an insect growth inhibitor product.

STINGING INSECT CONTROL

Bees, hornets, and wasps are, for the most part, a very beneficial group of insects, being the major pollinators of flowering plants, helping to reduce the numbers of many insect pest species, etc. However, these stinging insects are no help to you in your house or inside your place of business. When found close to an occupied structure or other populated environment, control is warranted. The National Pest Control Management Association advises treatments done when most of the wasps are in the nest, such as at night or early morning. Treatments may include a combination of liquid
products including aerosols and in some cases, dusts.

RODENT CONTROL

Rodents can enter your home through almost any crack or opening. While rodent droppings can cause allergic reactions in some people, the biggest health threat is they are often carriers of disease and bacteria. Our pest control professionals will offer their expertise to best protect your health and rid your home of a rodent infestation.

NUISANCE WILDLIFE CONTROL & MANAGEMENT

Bats, raccoons, possums, and skunks frequently carry rabies. If left untreated rabies can be potentially fatal. Rabies and other contagious diseases are one of the primary reasons for wildlife and animal control. Every Home Pro Advantage
technician is trained and licensed in wildlife removal.

BROWN RECLUSE SPIDER CONTROL

Brown Recluse spiders, recognized by the dark violin shape on their back, are common in the Midwest & South.  Recluses are not an aggressive spider and will usually only bite in self-defense. Although they prefer to live outdoors, most bites
occur because the spiders have made their home in clothing, shoes, or bedding. Through monitoring techniques our pest professionals can identify if you have Brown Recluse issues and recommend specialized treatments.

ANT BARRIER

Ants travel from their nests outside and into your home to forage for food and water. The best way to keep them out is creating a treated area of protection. However, most “do-it-yourself” ant control efforts can be detected by ants and cause a phenomenon called “budding.” This happens when foraging ants are separated from their nest and queen by a repellent spray and start new colonies.

Home Pro Advantage’s pest control professionals apply a non-repellent product outside your home. Since ants can’t detect it, they don’t react or avoid it. So on their routine travels to and from your home; they pick up the insecticide and spread it to other ants in their colony.

CRAWL SPACE SPRAY-OUT

Crawl spaces provide a cool, damp place

environment many unwanted pests prefer. Insects such as spiders, beetles, ants, camel crickets, termites, wasps, and hornets are often found in crawl spaces. Since crawl spaces tend to go
uninspected for long periods of time, an infestation can occur before the problem is even noticed. A Home Pro Advantage pest control professional can treat your crawl space & recommend ways to make it a less inviting place to live.
